As an artistic practice, dance generates knowledge that has an impact on various areas of society: from community-based processes and educational methods to medical applications. On this panel, three cultural policymakers from federal, state and local levels will engage in dialogue with an expert from the dance scene. The aim is to highlight the significant potential of dance in all its variety, and to provide insights into the working practices of dance experts. A closing discussion with all guests will take up aspects from the previous dialogues, and look ahead to future perspectives for dance.

An opening conversation will be held by Katarzyna Wielga-Skolimowska, Artistic Director of the German Federal Cultural Foundation and Dr. Carsten Brosda, Senator for Culture and Media of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
