Accessibility
Tanztriennale aims to be accessible to everyone, regardless of disability, age, background, identity, or way of life. Knowing that participation in art and culture needs to be accessible to everyone, the Tanztriennale commits to sustained, long term work dedicated to developing tools and measures that expand access.
The Access Team of the Tanztriennale works to reduce barriers and create more inclusive spaces - so more people can experience dance in meaningful ways, and diverse bodies, perspectives, and lived realities are visible on stage and in the audience.
As events take place in different settings, accessibility conditions vary. Detailed, event-by-event access information will be published on each event page, and general accessibility information for each venue will be available via the venue links listed below.
If you have any questions about accessibility or require specific support to participate in or contribute to the program of Tanztriennale - whether due to a physical, mental, cognitive, or other disability - please contact Marion Ariza at marino@tanztriennale.de.
Access is an ongoing process. We’ll update this page as new measures and services are introduced.

We recommend signing up in advance.

Some events are interpreted into German Sign Language (DGS).
Please contact us beforehand so we can make sure you have the best possible view of the interpretation.
Relaxed Performances
A number of performances are offered as Relaxed Performances.
These create a more open and relaxed atmosphere, where movement, sounds, and leaving or re-entering the space are welcome.
They’re especially designed for neurodivergent people and those with chronic conditions – but open to everyone.
